Across America, “One Book, One Community” projects unite cities and counties in the act of reading and discussing a single book. In 2009, Fall for the Book launched its
Campus Community Reads (CCR) program, encouraging Mason faculty, staff and students to join one another in reading works by two of last year’s headliners:
The March by Fairfax Prize winner
E.L. Doctorow and
Flight by Mason Award winner
Sherman Alexie.
The 2010 CCR titles will be announced soon, along with a schedule of discussion groups, films, and other related programming throughout the summer and early fall — culminating in Meet the Author events at this year’s Fall for the Book.
